The Role
We are looking for a Business Development Executive who is more than just a salesperson. This is a role for someone ambitious, structured, and values-driven - someone who thrives on building relationships, takes pride in their work, and is motivated by creating long-term value rather than chasing quick wins.
You will be responsible for delivering £500k annual wholesale revenue by opening and managing retail & boutiquw accounts, ensuring smooth replenishment cycles, and representing Sips with
professionalism and care.
Responsibilities
* Proactively identify, approach, and win retailers & boutiques across the UK.
* Build lasting relationships with buyers by being reliable, knowledgeable, and solutions-focused.
* Manage the full sales cycle through HubSpot CRM: from prospecting to closing, to repeat order management.
* Ensure replenishment cycles run smoothly every two months by staying close to retailers and anticipating their needs.
* Maintain accurate data and reporting in HubSpot - using it as the single source of truth for accounts and performance.
* Consistently hit and exceed revenue and account targets.
* Represent Sips and Curated Sourcing at trade shows, exhibitions, and in-store meetings with integrity and confidence.
* Share insights and feedback to help improve product development and customer experience.

Requirements
* 1–3 years’ experience in business development or sales, ideally in consumer goods, lifestyle, fashion, or beauty.
* Demonstrated success winning and managing retail accounts.
* Confident working to revenue targets.
* Experience with CRM tools (HubSpot experience a strong plus).
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* A personal interest in lifestyle, beauty, or fashion is desirable.
Targets & Incentives
* Annual target: £500k wholesale revenue (~75–85 active accounts).
* Commission: 5% on new orders
* OTE: £47k–£51k (base + commission), uncapped.
Growth Path
* Progression to Senior Business Development Manager, overseeing a small team and larger accounts.
Location: UK (remote with travel to retailers, shows, and London team events as required)
Salary: £32k–£35k base + commission (OTE £47k–£51k)
Reports to: Founder / Senior Sales Manager
