We are recruiting for a Mobile Electrical Service & Maintenance / HVAC Engineer covering the M, SK, OL, CW postcode areas.

Salary: £33,800.41 to £37,570.35 per annum (dependent on skills and experience), plus standby allowance (~£290/week on rota) and overtime rates. 22.5 days annual leave, increasing to 25 days after 5 years, plus bank holidays.
Contract Type: Permanent, Full-time, 37.5 hours/week, typically 08:00-16:00, Monday to Friday, with flexibility required. Out-of-hours callout rota of approximately 1 in 4.
Responsibilities include technical knowledge of HVAC, lighting, mechanical, power, and control wiring, working on FM systems within core buildings and wider areas. Air conditioning or gas qualifications are advantageous.
Must be flexible and willing to travel within a specified geographical area; a vehicle will be provided. Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential to liaise with customers and managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Analyze complex technical issues related to electrical, plumbing, heating, air conditioning, and lighting systems.
* Manage planned and corrective maintenance to meet contractual performance measures.
* Liaise with customer representatives to meet requirements.
* Complete all necessary paperwork accurately.
* Make judgments to achieve cost, quality, and safety objectives.
* Promote safety standards and act as a role model.
* Manage customer relationships and project a professional image.
* Report to the Technical Services Manager.
About You:
* Hold 18th Edition Electrical certification.
* NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in HVAC, electrical, or related fields; F-Gas / City and Guilds 2079 in Air Con/Refrigeration advantageous.
* IOSH certification.
* IPAF and MEWP training/qualification preferred; comfortable working at heights.
* Electrical testing inspection certification (e.g., 2391) or willing to train.
* Proven experience in a similar role.
* Valid UK driving license with no endorsements preferred.
* Computer literacy is an advantage.
