Role overview: Whether you are new to the industry or have come from a social care background, we welcome your application. We will train and mentor you to become a highly skilled professional. All in-house training is free of charge and a career path is set from day one.
Responsibilities
* Providing personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing and helping with feeding
* Medication administration
* Assisting and engaging residents in daily activities, hobbies or outings
* Following care plan guidance alongside Company policies and procedures
* Developing an open, honest, and considerate working relationship with residents
* Maintaining written daily records
* Attending and completing training as required
Personal attributes
Being patient, reliable, flexible, a team player and a good communicator are key characteristics for a successful Night Social Care Worker.

Where will you work?
Sandsground is a large bungalow-style property on the outskirts of the rural village of Highworth, four miles north east of Swindon. It provides 24-hour residential care for five adults, with complex needs and associated conditions. The home has easy access to regular public transport and its own transport for local travel and leisure activities, including swimming and country walks.
