KS2 Teacher

Contract: Full-time
Rate of Pay: From £125 to £232.56 per day
Teaching Personnel are delighted to be supporting a warm, friendly and community‑focused primary school as they look to appoint an enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join their team. The Role
We are seeking a passionate teacher to take on a Year 5 class, delivering high‑quality teaching in line with the National Curriculum. Your responsibilities will include:
Planning and delivering engaging, accurate and progressive lessons
Creating a nurturing, inclusive and child‑centred classroom environment
Communicating effectively with parents, colleagues and external agencies
Working collaboratively with the wider school team
Regularly assessing and tracking pupil progress, identifying gaps and delivering interventions where needed

What We’re Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching KS2 (Year 5 experience desirable but not essential)
Strong communication and behaviour‑management skills
An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
