We have two exciting opportunities to join Milestones Trust as Quality Auditors. This role is key to ensuring we deliver the highest standards of care and support across our services. Acting as a critical friend, you will provide constructive feedback and guidance to help services maintain compliance and continuously improve. You will be part of a small, supportive team, working closely with operational managers and reporting to the Lead Auditor. The role involves conducting audits and reviews, and reporting findings via constructive, supportive verbal and written feedback to services across all divisions and locations of Milestones Trust. The audits and reviews focus on all aspects of operational processes and support services to be compliant with regulations, guidelines and safe, best practices. What you will do in the role Undertake scheduled quality audits (onsite and remote) across services in Bristol, South Glos., Bath, North Somerset, Swindon, and Wiltshire. Review compliance against legislation, regulations, internal policies, and best practice standards. Capture and analyse quantitative and qualitative data from multiple sources and systems. Produce clear, detailed reports and present findings to key stakeholders. Provide guidance to operational managers in developing time-bound improvement plans and monitor progress, offering feedback and advice to support sustainable improvements. Gather feedback from the people we support through audits, surveys and observations Contribute to the development of quality standards, audit tools, and policies. Identify and share areas of excellence and good practice across services Attend team meetings and contribute to process and tool improvements that lead to service improvements Participate in personal development through supervision, job chats, effective learning and appraisal Undertake additional projects related to quality, compliance, and risk (e.g., mock inspections, Time to Shine sessions). Travel to services in the Bristol, South Glos, North Somerset, Bath and Swindon areas. What we’re looking for Qualified to degree level or equivalent and have a minimum of 2 years professional experience managing a service (relevant training, education and/or experience may be substituted for certain minimum qualifications). A good understanding of CQC’s approach, quality statements and regulations. The ability to process information, analyse and triangulate evidence. Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs or dementia. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including delivering sensitive information and managing potential conflict. Strong organisational, administrative and time management skills (working to deadlines is imperative). Confident in using and learning IT systems (Teams, Incident reporting, MS Office, electronic audit, care plan and eMAR systems).
