Head Waiter Bath & North Somerset, BA1 Job Description This Restaurant is Bath's only Michelin Starred Restaurant. Located within a stylish Hotel in Upper Bath, we are actively looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Head Waiter. The ideal candidate will be an essential part of our journey towards a world-class dining experience. Salary £30,031 plus £1500-£2000 tips Essentials Required to work in all areas of F&B in the business, including bar, room service and breakfast. The phrase ‘that’s not my job’ is not part of our ethos. Strong passion for food, drinks and delivering exceptional guest experiences. Based on 43 hours a week, worked over 5 days. 1 day lunch and dinner, 3 days working dinner only and 1 breakfast split (8-11am /break / 4-11) a week. A strong knowledge of wine will be essential, preferably WSET Level 2, not essential. Impeccable presentation and personal standards. Punctual time management. Every second counts. Ability to cope with pressure and multi-task. Good communication skills. Ambition to grow within the company. Ability to supervise and train staff as well as running the restaurant in the absence of the manager/assistant manager. Knowledge of bar service and cocktails would be advantageous. Minimum Required Experience Previous front of house experience is essential, preferably in a similar role or establishment. Training will be provided, but a good level of service skills and knowledge will help you hit the ground running. A strong knowledge of wine is essential, preferably WSET Level 2.
