A long-established manufacturing and fabrication business is seeking a skilled Dimensional Quality Inspector to join its quality and inspection team. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet required specifications, standards, and customer expectations. Key Responsibilities of a Dimensional Quality Inspector : Carry out detailed dimensional inspections on fabricated and machined components Verify components against engineering drawings, tolerances, and quality requirements Perform in-process and final inspections throughout the production cycle Use a range of precision measuring equipment (verniers, micrometers, height gauges, etc.) Identify, record, and report non-conformances and inspection results Support root cause investigations and corrective actions where required Liaise with production and quality personnel to ensure compliance with internal and customer standards Skills & Experience of a Dimensional Quality Inspector Required: Demonstrated experience in a Dimensional or Quality Inspection role within an engineering or manufacturing environment Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications High level of attention to detail and a methodical approach to inspection tasks Ability to work independently and manage inspection priorities Highly Regarded: Experience in Non-Destructive Testing (NDT), particularly: Ultrasonic Testing (UT) Dye Penetrant Testing (Dye Pen) Current or previous NDT certifications Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday: 7:00am – 3:45pm Friday: 6am – 1pm This position offers stable weekday hours and the opportunity to work as a Dimensional Qualtiy Inspector within a quality-focused environment where attention to detail and technical expertise are valued.
