Senior Engineer - Fire Engineering role at WSP
Responsibilities
* Work on a variety of projects, including university campus to high-rise residential towers, across the UK and internationally, ensuring innovative architectural design while maintaining fire safety.
* Review design information and liaise with other WSP disciplines (Facades, Acoustics, Structures).
* Present designs to local authorities and the Fire Service; advise the design team on changes to enhance building safety.
* Learn and be guided through software packages, fire standards, team briefings, and client updates from the start; participate in social and professional development activities.
* Support professional registration toward IFE and other professional bodies; engage in a bespoke development programme for technical and professional growth.
What we will be looking for
* BSc (BEng) or MSc (MEng) in Fire, Structural, Chemical, or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent.
* Experience within the fire engineering consulting industry.
* Role based from any of our UK major offices.
