Principal Photolithography Engineer – InP Photonics

A leading high-tech R&D center is seeking a Principal Engineer specializing in photolithography for Indium Phosphide (InP) photonics. This onsite role is instrumental in developing high-precision fabrication processes for next-generation telecom, data center, and sensing technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and optimize photolithography processes for InP photonic devices.
* Oversee tool setup, calibration, and cleanroom operations.
* Convert photonic designs into high-fidelity, manufacturable patterns.
* Maintain process control and resolve lithography-related issues.
* Explore new materials, resists, and patterning techniques.
* Mentor junior engineers and guide best practices in microfabrication.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure process integration.
* Lead R&D projects aligned with long-term technical goals
Requirements:
* Ph.D. in a relevant field (Materials Science, Physics, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering).
* Extensive experience in photolithography for compound semiconductors or photonics.
* Strong skills in mask design, resist technologies, and cleanroom tools (steppers, aligners, spin coaters).
* Proficient with SEM, AFM, profilometers, and related metrology.
* Solid understanding of photonic device design and manufacturing.
* Skilled in data analysis and process control.
* Strong leadership and collaboration abilities.
* Up-to-date with industry standards and emerging photolithography technologies.
