The Role
We are looking for an organised, proactive HSEQ & Compliance Coordinator to support our Health, Safety, Environment and Quality team. This role is central to helping us manage risk, meet compliance requirements, and maintain a strong safety culture across the site.
You will support safety programmes, help manage key systems, provide accurate reporting, and work closely with teams across the business to ensure we continue to operate safely and responsibly.
We welcome applications from experienced administrators or coordinators. Experience within an HSEQ team or safety‑focused environment is preferred.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage our site's safety observation system, ensuring it remains effective and continuously improves.
* Gather, check and analyse data for monthly and quarterly performance reports.
* Coordinate weekly safety reports and support incident investigations.
* Maintain systems that track actions and ensure follow‑up is completed.
* Support workplace exposure monitoring, including collecting and interpreting data.
* Take part in safety walkdowns and other on‑site safety programmes.
* Promote continuous improvement by helping identify lessons learned and supporting process improvements.
* Support the introduction of new tools and technologies that improve safety and efficiency.
* Monitor and report on safety performance trends.
* Assist with internal assurance and audit activities.
* Maintain clear and accurate work instructions for safety systems.
* Prepare technical reports and recommend improvements where risks are identified.
About You
We're looking for someone who is organised, confident working with data, and comfortable coordinating activities across different teams.
Essential:
* Strong administrative or coordination experience
* Ability to analyse information and produce clear reports
* Good communication and organisational skills
Preferred:
* Experience working in an HSEQ, safety, or compliance‑focused environment
* NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards)
* Experience in a manufacturing or high‑hazard environment (COMAH experience highly desirable)
