Role Description
The Finance Manager will oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, payroll, and expense tracking. This full‑time, on‑site role is based in Clogher and involves preparing financial statements, monitoring cash flow, and ensuring compliance with statutory regulations. The Finance Manager will also collaborate with department heads to provide financial insights and contribute to strategic decision‑making for the continued success of the hotel. The role requires maintaining the highest levels of financial accuracy and supporting the hotel's operational goals.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Financial Planning, Budgeting, and Forecasting
* Expertise in Financial Reporting, Analysis, and Payroll Management
* Strong Understanding of Compliance, Taxation, and Regulatory Requirements
* Knowledge of Accounting Software and Financial Tools
* Leadership Skills and Ability to Collaborate with Cross‑Functional Teams
* Attention to Detail, Analytical Skills, and Problem‑Solving Abilities
* Part‑qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) or currently working towards a professional qualification
* Candidates with relevant hands‑on accounting experience will also be considered
Experience
* Extensive use of computerised accounting packages;
* Demonstrable use of own initiative, making a difference and bringing one's own ideas to make a positive contribution to employer's business;
* Ability to operate without direct supervision; and
* Relevant industry experience (desirable).
