Key Stage 2 Phase Leader – Responsibilities
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Key Stage 2 phase leader to lead and further enhance the quality of teaching and learning in Key Stage 2 as well as maths across Withymoor Primary School. The successful candidate will:
* Provide leadership, coaching, mentoring, and training to staff.
* Lead the development and implementation of strategies to raise teaching standards and pupil outcomes.
* Act as an expert in teaching and learning with specialist maths knowledge.
* Model high-quality teaching practices and maintain a clear vision for progress across Key Stage 2.
* Collaborate with colleagues to embed best practice and professional learning opportunities.
Qualifications and Experience
* Passionate about enabling all children to achieve success.
* Willing and able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive team.
* Clear understanding of the primary curriculum and strong instructional leadership skills.
* Dynamic and creative approach to learning that stimulates pupils’ engagement.
* High expectations of attainment and behaviour for both pupils and staff.
* Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
* Strong relationships with pupils, staff, and parents.
* Experience in pastoral and counselling practices, supporting pupils with diverse needs.
* Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and ability to act as Deputy Safeguarding Lead.
