Spider is advertising on behalf of a leading crane service company seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team in Colchester, Essex, on a part-time permanent basis.

About the Role
As a Business Development Manager, you will work closely with the Managing Director and leadership team to develop strategic targets and drive company initiatives. Your insights will influence business strategies to meet customer and industry demands. The role involves working 28 hours per week with flexible hours to accommodate personal commitments.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
* Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement strategic plans
* Develop relationships with strategic targets and secure new work
* Understand customer needs and industry demands
* Analyze sales processes and recommend improvements
* Build and maintain relationships with existing clients and act as client liaison when appropriate
About You
You should have significant experience in business development and operations management, preferably within construction, energy, renewables, or infrastructure sectors. You will be a motivated sales professional with excellent negotiation and communication skills, experienced in account management. You should be capable of working across all organizational levels, implementing strategies and KPIs, and thriving in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications in business management or related fields are desirable.
