The Role
We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Conveyancing Secretary to join our busy team. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive administrative and secretarial support to our conveyancing solicitors, ensuring smooth and efficient handling of property transactions from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities
* Preparing and managing legal documentation related to residential and commercial property transactions
* Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other third parties
* Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case files and records
* Booking appointments, managing diaries, and coordinating meetings
* Handling correspondence and responding to client enquiries promptly
* Supporting solicitors with all administrative aspects of conveyancing transactions
Requirements
* Previous experience as a conveyancing secretary or in a similar legal administration role
* Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and terminology
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Highly organized with strong attention to detail
* Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal case management systems
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
