We are looking for a Senior Care Assistant (Bank) to join our team for 22 hours per week.

What does the role involve?
* Ensuring the highest possible levels of care are maintained by supporting/assisting residents, when required, with all aspects of daily living.
* Supporting training and supervision of junior and new staff members in all aspects of their work in the home, under the supervision of senior staff members.
* Responding to the Nurse Call system, providing assistance as required. Answering the door and telephone appropriately. Passing on messages promptly.
* Reporting on the well-being of clients and liaising with GPs and Support Managers, etc.
* Carrying out regular checks on clients at intervals determined by senior staff members.
* Delivering a high level of personal and psychological care to all residents in a professional manner, arranging rotas to meet their care requirements, e.g., medications, toileting, bathing, etc.
* Completing records to a satisfactory standard, ensuring changeover and Keyworker documentation are fully completed within the agreed timeframes.
