A welcoming and well-resourced specialist school in Yeovil is looking for a committed SEMH Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team from September 2025. This is a full-time role working across both primary and secondary phases, supporting students aged 4 to 16 with a range of complex needs, including Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) challenges. The Role: Support individual students and small groups with SEMH and SEND Foster emotional regulation, resilience, and engagement in learning Assist in delivering tailored educational and therapeutic programmes Build consistent, trusting relationships with pupils and staff Promote a positive, inclusive and respectful school culture Why This School?
