Compass Tractors, a leading agricultural machinery dealership in Somerset, is looking for a skilled Agricultural Engineer to join our expert team at the Bridgwater Depot. We specialise in servicing and maintaining Fendt, Krone, Amazone, and other top-tier brands, providing cutting-edge solutions to the farming community.
About the Role
As an Experienced Agricultural Engineer, you will play a key role in servicing, maintaining, and repairing a wide range of agricultural machinery. From tractors and combines to sprayers and balers, you'll handle everything from routine maintenance and diagnostics to pre-delivery inspections. This role offers a dynamic mix of depot-based and field-based work, ensuring our customers receive exceptional service and support.
Key Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled service maintenance and repairs both on-site and at the depot.
* Diagnose and resolve faults on a variety of farm machinery.
* Conduct pre-delivery inspections on new equipment.
* Use laptop-based diagnostics and service tools.
* Promote Compass Tractors' dealership services to customers.
* Complete job reports and time records using an Ibcos Gold Service App.
* Attend manufacturers' training courses to stay up to date with the latest technologies.
* Work closely with customers, colleagues, manufacturers, and suppliers to ensure high standards of service.
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience in a similar agricultural engineering role.
* Strong knowledge of agricultural machinery.
* Strong communication and IT skills.
* Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
