About the Role
Two compassionate and motivated Care Team Leaders (Nights) are needed to join our residential care homes in Sheffield. Locations: Valley Wood and Cotleigh. We are an independent Sheffield-based charity, established in 1994. We care for older people and people living with dementia in nine residential homes across the city, guided by our values of Kindness, Dignity, Respect, Independence, and Choices.
The Role - Care Team Leader
As a Care Team Leader, you’ll help ensure the highest standards of care for residents overnight. You’ll lead by example, support your team, and help create a safe, caring environment where residents are treated with dignity and respect.
Your Responsibilities Will Include
* Acting as Duty Manager and leading the night team
* Supervising, supporting, and developing colleagues
* Ensuring residents receive quality care in line with their individual plans
* Building strong relationships with families and professionals
* Recording and reporting effectively using our mobile technology
* Promoting Sheffcare’s values in everything you do
About You
* Experienced in a similar Care Team Leader role, ideally at least 12 months
* Collaborative and able to motivate others
* Observant with excellent attention to detail
* Organised, adaptable, and confident with basic technology
* Empathetic, approachable, and able to build trust
* Keen to learn and develop within a supportive charity
Shift Pattern
* Night shifts: 7:30pm–7:30am or 8:00pm–8:00am
* Week 1: 3 shifts
* Week 2: 2 shifts
* Includes some weekends (usually alternate)
* Bank holiday cover required
* Occasional daytime shifts for holiday cover and training
