Position Title: SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer

I am currently recruiting on behalf of a Luxury Automotive OEM based in Gaydon who are seeking a SUMS Pack Deployment and Compatibility Operational Test Engineer to join their team on a long term rolling contract
40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities
1. Responsible for repair and maintenance work in accordance with quality control standards.
2. Carry out technical diagnosis and documentation of results based on the procedures.
3. Level: A Specialist Para-Professional (S4) requires advanced knowledge of operational procedures and tools obtained through extensive work experience and may require vocational or technical education.
Skills:
4. Diagnostic and repair of mechanical vehicle systems i.e. engine and chassis systems
5. Software updates and testing.
6. Service, diagnostics & repair operations on current vehicles.
7. Provision of technical feedback for fault identification and support of subsystem development.
8. Preparation, fitment & removal of test components.
9. Assembly / replacement of systems / components.
10. Manufacture / modification of electrical harnesses.
11. Diagnose / trace faults, rectify and validate issues.
12. Use of computer diagnostic equipment
13. Read and interpret drawings and liaise with engineering departments.
14. Fitment of harnesses and other components.
15. Engineer "one off" solutions to overcome issue.
