Your new companyHays Education have recently seen an increased need for local Higher Level Teaching Assistants in SEN Schools across Northamptonshire for day-to-day and long-term supply.Here at Hays, we work with a number of schools across Northamptonshire, covering the areas of Northampton, Corby, Kettering, Wellingborough, Rushden, Daventry, Towcester, Brackley and all the in between! This means as a Teaching Assistant working through Hays you will have local work in your local area covering schools that only you want to work in.We are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist primary school in Wellingborough for children and young people aged 4-11, with varying additional needs. The school is a growing school, currently with over 140 students. The school follows the national curriculum and is split over two sites within Wellingborough and Rushden, they are also expanding to have a further site in Wellingborough from September. The school is committed to the benefits on creative therapies and the children are able to access Art therapy, Music Therapy, Drama Therapy, Massage Therapy and Theraplay. The school has facilities such as splash room, music room, food technology room and a library.Your new roleWe are currently recruiting for a full-time Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join the team ASAP on a temporary - permanent basis. You will be able to successfully build trusting student relationships and motivate and encourage student(s) as required by providing levels of individual attention, reassurance and help with living and learning tasks as appropriate.What you'll need to succeedThe appointed candidates will have a minimum of 3 years' experience working with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs or Autism Spectrum Conditions.
