Job Title: Lettings Assistant
Contract Type: Permanent
Salary: £23,330.15 Per Annum (£25,622.14 after 12 months of successful performance)
Working Hours: 35 hours per week
Working Pattern: Monday - Friday
Location: Carlisle, Cumbria

Deliver a quality lettings service for social housing, ensuring homes are let quickly and appropriately, at the required standard, minimising rent loss through empty homes. We are looking for someone with:

Role Profile
* Support end-to-end management of empty homes, from notice receipt to tenancy creation, working collaboratively to ensure quick, standard-compliant lettings.
* Produce letters to outgoing tenants confirming notice receipt.
* Update customer housing applications as delegated.
* Advertise properties following lettings policies and strategies.
* Conduct pre-tenancy checks, support customers with onboarding, and refer to specialist support if needed.
* Prepare sign-up documents and create tenancies in the housing management system, uploading necessary forms.
* Ensure compliance with health & safety, safeguarding, equality & diversity, and data protection policies.
Person Specification
Essential:
* Commitment to Our Riverside Way values.
* Ability to show initiative and ownership.
* Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure, and manage priorities.
* Proactive, flexible, and adaptable approach.
Desirable:
* Experience with Open Housing, Salesforce, CX (Civica), or Microsoft Dynamics.
* Experience in lettings.
