Head of Employer Services Location: Field based role covering the London, Greater Manchester and West Midlands Regions Salary: £54,000 Ingeus are looking for a Head of Employer Services to set the strategic direction of the Employer Services function, as well as driving the vision, culture and performance of the Employer Services Team, enabling high‑quality employer partnerships that enhance participant success and strengthen Ingeus’ position within the employability sector. As our Head of Employer Services you will: Drive a high‑performance culture, embedding continuous improvement, high standards, and evidence‑based decision‑making across the Employer Services Team. Convert strategic objectives into clear delivery plans that help Employer Services Managers and frontline teams understand priorities, workflows, targets, and expected outcomes. Lead the regional employer engagement strategy, using labour‑market intelligence, recruitment trends, sector growth and commissioner priorities. Lead, manage, and develop Employer Services Managers to ensure strong, consistent leadership across all Employer Services Teams, aligned to company values and performance expectations. Build and maintain high‑level relationships with senior employers, sector bodies, commissioners, Jobcentre Plus, local authorities and strategic partners, creating sustainable recruitment pipelines and solution‑based partnerships. Represent Ingeus at regional and national forums, employer groups and sector networks, promoting our employer value proposition and the Employer Services Team’s work. Lead a business‑development‑focused approach, working with employers to understand workforce challenges and co‑designing tailored recruitment solutions and routeways that support sustainable participant outcomes. Ensure performance is monitored, understood and communicated, producing high‑quality reports for internal stakeholders, contract performance meetings and commissioners. As our Head of Employer Services you will have: Proven experience leading high‑performing teams within a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment, with the ability to inspire, motivate and maintain a culture of excellence. Highly developed leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence behaviour, drive high standards, and embed a positive, inclusive team culture. A strong track record of building and sustaining strategic relationships with senior employers, commissioners, skills providers and external partners, resulting in new opportunities and impactful collaboration. Strong experience in stakeholder management across a wide spectrum of audiences, including executive‑level decision makers. Proven experience leading sales, employer‑facing or business‑development teams across multiple service streams, providing tailored and high‑quality solutions that meet customer and commissioner needs. Ability to effectively analyse performance, identify insights, opportunities for growth, and adjust strategies to maximise outcomes. Demonstrable success in driving performance, meeting and exceeding personal, team and organisational targets, and fostering a results‑oriented culture.
