Role Highlights



Job Title: Registered Manager

Salary: £47,175 – £55,000 (dependent on experience and qualifications)

Hours: 40 hours per week – we will agree a working pattern that enables your effective engagement with your team across their shifts, while also supporting your work-life balance.


The Role



As our new Registered Manager, you will:


* Lead the home by taking full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the children’s home, ensuring a safe, loving, and supportive environment.
* Complete your registration with Ofsted to officially register the home in your name.
* Deliver consistently excellent care that meets or exceeds Ofsted standards and puts children at the centre.
* Lead and develop your team by recruiting, supervising, mentoring, and inspiring your team staff to deliver trauma-informed, child-centered care.
* Coach and develop your staff through supervisions, mentoring, and on-the-job support.
* Promote a therapeutic culture, embedding the organisation’s therapeutic model in every aspect of practice.
* Drive continuous improvement by monitoring and improving care standards through internal audits, feedback, and reflective practice.
* Manage resources and budgets by oversee staffing, rotas, training, and any maintenance issues with a focus on value and quality.
* Work with professionals and families to build strong partnerships with social workers, schools, health teams, and families.
* Be Ofsted-ready at all times.
* Safeguard children and staff by ensuring all policies, risk assessments, and procedures are followed.
* Work directly with children, offering support, stability, and positive role modelling.
* Promote a safe, loving, and nurturing home environment where children can heal and thrive.

* Confident – You’ll advocate for children and guide your team to do what’s right, even when it’s hard.
* Flexible – We aren’t rigid about the rota you follow, we can create something specific for you to get your work-life balance right.
* A driver – A full UK driving licence is essential to use the home’s vehicle for school runs, appointments, and activities.
* Safe to work with children – An enhanced DBS with child barred list check is required.
