What Are We Looking For?
Owing to organic growth through our continued success, our Finance department is looking to bring on board a Payroll Controller based in either our Inverness, Edinburgh or Cumbernauld office. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established team with a vast portfolio of projects to undertake under the RSE business.
You will provide a full and accurate payroll service, including processing, payment, and accounting of all elements of fixed and variable payments to all employees. Attention to detail is paramount, and through our use of new systems, we are confident you will thrive in this environment.
Please note that while we are open to candidate location based on the above offices, regular visits to Inverness (our Head Office) and to our subsidiary businesses across the UK will be required.
Some of Your Key Duties Include:
* Input all required information into the payroll system for new starters and leavers.
* Set up new employees on the company's time management/recording system.
* Carry out briefings related to the company's time management/recording system.
* Process timesheets.
* Record annual leave allocations/applications.
* Check and process payments for expenses, annual leave, statutory sick/maternity/paternity pay.
* Liaise with relevant managers to resolve pay queries.
* Submit PAYE/NI payments and documentation.
* Post journals related to pensions, CSA, court arrestments, etc.
What Do You Need?
* Demonstrable experience in a similar role, ideally within a high-volume environment.
* Knowledge of payroll software packages.
* Understanding of statutory and legislative directives and timelines.
* Excellent interpersonal skills.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Full UK Driving Licence.
