This role is for a Business Fire Safety Advisor within our Protection Team, where you'll play a key role in keeping Gloucestershire safe. Working on the engagement side, you'll deliver fire safety events, provide clear and practical advice on the Fire Safety Order and related legislation, and carry out inspections of non‑domestic premises to support enforcement. You'll help identify high‑risk premises to inform targeted, risk‑based inspection programmes, represent the Service at meetings and initiatives, and offer expert guidance to colleagues and partners – making a real difference across the community every day.
You will be required to work across the county, requiring travel and a flexible approach to meet the needs of the role.

It is a legal requirement, under the Immigration Act 2016, that anyone appointed to a 'customer facing role' must be able to demonstrate an ability to fulfil all spoken aspects of the role with confidence in fluent English.
