Job summaryA fantastic opportunity to work in a high profile role with Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, one of the leading teaching hospitals in the country.The Director of Financial Planning & Reporting will have responsibility for a broad and exciting remit covering Annual Planning, Reporting, Finance Continuous Improvement, Corporate Business Partnering and Productivity. This role is crucial to enabling clinical teams to perform effectively and to ensure divisions are delivering their financial plans.The post holder will work closely with the Deputy CFO to provide leadership and direction to improve the financial performance of the Trust and deliver on the finance department's improvement programme.This role requires an inclusive and encouraging leader who will ensure the Trust's equality and diversity ethos and values are applied and promoted. You will be a qualified accountant with significant experience of strategic financial leadership in a complex organisation.You will have excellent financial modelling skills, sound financial judgement, be comfortable at quickly developing and implementing solutions to highly complex problems, and experience in persuading and influencing key stakeholders.If you are interested in applying please contact recruitment partner Nicola Brooks at I&E Professionals. All applications will be submitted through I&E professionals and not via NHS Jobs.This is a hybrid role with an expectation of 2 days in the office, based at St Mary's Hospital.Main duties of the jobLead the business planning process for the organisation working closely with the strategic leads within the Trust as well as the income team and financial services ensuring plans are consistent, deliverable and meet overall trust, sector and national planning parameters.Supporting the CFO and Deputy CFO to ensure that divisional teams are effectively performance managing directorates and ensuring divisions are delivering their financial plans.Leading the monthly reporting process for the Trust delivering clear reports on the financial position to Trust Board, internal and external stakeholders.
