Job description
Our client, a prominent player in the Production/Manufacturing sector, is looking for a Production Maintenance Engineer to join their team on a Permanent basis. This role is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of machinery, plant, and equipment within the food and drink industry.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor work activities to ensure control standards are continually met and maintained
2. Ensure standard operating procedures (SOPs) are written and up to date
3. Conduct regular maintenance inspections of machinery, plant, and freezer equipment
4. Perform relevant repairs and improvements on machinery and suggest better practices
5. Maintain reporting schedules for testing equipment
6. Service machinery and keep accurate maintenance records
7. Develop new equipment and re-develop existing equipment to improve processes and capacity
8. Carry out checks on automated equipment
9. Diagnose and repair equipment faults for smooth facility operations
10. Apply continuous improvement practices
11. Review equipment costs and propose cost-saving solutions
12. Continuously monitor production lines to identify and implement improvements
13. Share knowledge to develop team skills and understanding of SOPs
General Responsibilities:

Job Requirements:
23. Mechanical Engineering qualification
24. Maintenance experience within food manufacturing
25. Understanding of food industry standards
26. Ability to work Monday to Friday from 14:00 to 22:15
