Business Development Consultant required by a firm operating within the MPS, FinTech and broader investment management space. This role focuses on engaging financial advisers, building relationships and converting interest into new business over time, within a structured and supportive sales environment.
This opportunity would suit a sales professional with some exposure to financial services or adviser-facing environments, looking to build a career in the IFA space with a company that can offer progression into a more senior business development role.
Responsibilities:
* Deliver activity against KPIs and targets
* Build relationships with financial advisers and IFAs
* Execute outbound calls and introductory meetings
* Drive new business development and lead generation activity
* Follow up event and marketing leads
* Support adviser events and client meetings
* Maintain CRM records and pipeline activity
* Collaborate with internal and external sales teams
The right candidate will have:
Exposure to financial services, investments or adviser-facing environments
Experience in a sales, account management or client-facing role
Confidence speaking with professional clients
Strong B2B relationship development skills
Proactive and positive approach
Ambition to progress into a Business Development Manager role
