Ashton Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Advisor join our client, a well-established organisation based in the Duncrue area of Belfast.
Position: Customer Service Advisor
Location: Belfast (with very occasional travel within Ireland and the UK)
Duration Temporary - Permanent
Pay Rate: £13.33 per hour
Hours of work: Monday - Friday, 08:00-17:00

With a strong heritage in translating research into practical feed strategies, additives, premixes, digital tools and tailored services, they help customers optimise livestock production across multiple species while responding to the evolving demands of the food-to-plate value chain.
Key Responsibilities
* Process and manage customer orders efficiently, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
* Liaise with internal teams including planning, production, and finance to resolve queries and prioritize orders
* Track order progress and update customers as required
* Support the customer service team in daily operations and ensure smooth workflow
* Provide excellent customer service, maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism
* Identify opportunities to improve customer service processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
* Collaborate closely with the Customer Manager and peers to ensure team objectives are met
Essential Experience
* 1-2 years of experience in customer service, ideally within animal feeding or related industries
* Relevant educational background or equivalent experience
* Experience with ERP systems is preferred
* Soft Skills: Proactive, curious, and independent, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills; a quick learner who can prioritize effectively and thrives in a friendly, approachable, and team-oriented environment
