Role Overview
The company seeks a proactive, people-focused HR / Business Support Manager to join their team. This role combines HR, finance support, and cultural leadership, supporting operational efficiency and team wellbeing.
The successful candidate will ensure smooth day-to-day business support and champion internal culture and engagement. Responsibilities include onboarding, coordinating wellbeing events, and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace.
Key Responsibilities
HR & People Support
* Manage onboarding and offboarding processes.
* Maintain employee records, contracts, and HR policies.
* Support managers with HR queries and performance processes.
* Ensure HR compliance and assist with recruitment and development activities.
Finance Admin Support
* Support finance administration, including invoices, expenses, and payroll.
* Collaborate with finance for reporting, budgeting, and purchase orders.
* Maintain accurate financial records.
Business & Culture
* Lead wellbeing initiatives and internal events like Park Runs and charity challenges.
* Promote team engagement, communication, and collaboration.
* Organize internal communications and updates.
* Provide general support to leadership and office teams.
Candidate Profile
* Experience in HR, business support, or office management roles.
* Warm, approachable, with excellent communication skills.
* Highly organized, proactive, and capable of multitasking.
* Basic finance admin knowledge or willingness to learn.
* Experience in construction or project-based industries is a plus.
* Passionate about fostering a positive team culture and wellbeing.
