The Role: Silcom Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a well-established, respected, forward-thinking, and ambitious motor trade dealership in their search for a Service Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Advisor/ Senior Service Advisor ready to endure a clear path towards management & seeking a fresh challenge within a progressive dealer environment. Responsibilities & Requirements: Support the Service Manager in overseeing the day-to-day front-of-house operations within the service department. Act as a role model for the service team, assisting with training, mentoring, and maintaining high customer service standards. Welcome customers to the service reception, managing bookings, vehicle handovers, and follow-up communication. Ensure clear communication between customers and workshop teams, providing updates on progress, costs, and timescales. Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency, aiming for first-time resolution. Assist in achieving departmental performance targets, including profitability, efficiency, and CSI scores. Previous motor trade service advisor experience is essential, ideally with exposure to a supervisory or senior role, but this is not essential. The Package: Up to £34,000 Basic (experience dependent) overtime & bonus – £38,000 OTE. Monday to Friday – 8:00am until 5:30pm Superb company benefits.
