Job Opportunity: Domestic Assistant/Cleaner
Location: Upton Hospital - Albert Street, Slough
Contract Type: 12 Month Fixed Term Contract
1. Hours of Work: 37.5 hours per week
2. Shift Pattern: 5 out of 7 days, either 7.30am-3.30pm or 10.30am-6.30pm; more details to be discussed at interview
3. Pay: £12.36 per hour

About the Role
The General Assistant is responsible for delivering general assistant services to the required standards, ensuring high-quality service delivery and working practices.
Key Responsibilities
* Timely delivery of general assistant services, including:
* Collection and movement of patients to and from wards
* Delivering linen to wards and removing spoiled linen to laundry
* Managing clinical and household waste removal and storage
* Handling blood, specimens, and other materials
* Performing cleaning duties, operating electrical and steam cleaning equipment in line with national standards
* Maintaining grounds, car parks, and gardens, including salting/gritting paths and car parks in extreme weather
