To support and assist our residents within our care home to live as independently as possible
To empower people to make their own decisions and choices
To provide support with personal care (e.g. washing, going to the bathroom, dressing, eating and drinking)
To offer physical and emotional support to our residents
To help our residents participate with daily living tasks and activities
To encourage engagement of our residents in social and wellbeing activities
To assist with health care and personal appointments
Only where trained to do so, to administer medication
To undertake manual handling, using equipment when required
To support positive relationships with our residents, their family, colleagues and professionals
To record care using mobile technology

Hours: 22 hours per week
Shift Pattern: 8:00pm to 8:00am x 2 nights per week, including weekends (usually alternate) and bank holiday work
Pay: £12.40 per hour
All new team members are required to attend an induction at our training room in S13 prior to starting work in the care home. These are run every three weeks, starting on a Monday between 9:30am until 3:30pm.
