Your new role
As an Employee Relations Advisor, you’ll provide short-term support to increase case management capacity across Flexible Working Requests, Reasonable Adjustments, health-related queries, and return-to-officepliance. You’ll manage a high-volume caseload (circa 60 cases), coach managers, ensure policy and legalpliance, and contribute to proactive ER initiatives.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Advising managers on ER matters including flexible working, reasonable adjustments, and conduct
2. Providing pragmatic, risk-managed advice to support sensitive conversations
3. Ensuringpliance with employment law and policies
4. Building trusted relationships with stakeholders across the People Team
5. Contributing insights to support proactive ER strategy
What you'll need to succeed
You’ll have prior experience in a similar role, ideally within a large,plex organisation, and be confident handling high-volume ER casework. Strong knowledge of UK employment law is essential, along with experience in flexible working, reasonable adjustments, and health-related cases. You’ll be resilient, pragmatic, and able to influence and support managers effectively.
