The opportunity has arisen to join the friendly and established team on Ward 1 Care of the Elderly at Ysbyty Glan Clwyd hospital. Ward 1 is a busy 24 bedded dynamic and fast paced ward, committed to delivering high quality patient care. The nursing team is proactive and has a wealth of knowledge in this specialist area, working with multidisciplinary colleagues to support all acute medical care needs of our patients. A team approach is used to ensure safe practice, individualised care and a positive patient experience.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and motivated individual to join our nursing team. This is a demanding role that requires commitment, excellent communication skills, and high clinical standards with a passion to make a difference for patients and staff alike.


Main duties of the job

* Assist the registered nurse/practitioner to deliver a high standard of holistic patient care, ensuring that the patients’ dignity and equality are maintained at all times.
* Work as part of a team to provide evidence based, holistic and individualised care for patients and their families.
* Support ongoing development and progress to full potential within the nursing team.
* The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post; Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
