About The Role
The School of Psychology and Vision Sciences is looking to appoint a Lecturer in Clinical Psychology to contribute to our Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. You will be a member of our Programme’s core team with a teaching-focused role, responsible for teaching, assessment and research supervision, alongside other activities which support the DClinPsy Programme and the School in developing and enhancing its reputation.
About You
Qualifications and experience
Alongside your doctorate in Psychology (e.g., DClinPsy, PhD), you will have extensive experience of teaching at postgraduate level, and are likely to be a registered practitioner with the Health and Care Professions Council with post-qualification experience. You will have expertise that complements and enhances the existing programmes and strengths within the School and research themes within the College, and will demonstrate excellent communication and mentoring skills, as well as a real passion for providing the best experience for our doctoral students.
Responsibilities
Key duties include
Teaching across the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology, contributing to assessment and examination, supervising research projects and theses, and supporting activities that enhance the programme and School reputation. Where appropriate, you may contribute to other activities supporting the DClinPsy Programme and School.
