An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Cupar Agency. **Typical duties of the role include:** • Managing employee schedules • Helping establish and maintain office procedures • Assisting with staff recruitment and development • Responsible for driving sales, securing work and implementing follow up • Assist with the daily operational workload planning • Maintain both physical and digital records while ensuring adherence with data protection legislation and company protocols • Co-ordinate sales, administrative and customer service activity, getting involved in special campaigns and projects along the way • Lead, manage, motivate and develop direct reports so that team members are able to maximise their contribution to business objectives and realise their potential. • Manage and report on important business information as required. • Analyse the Agency Regulatory performance to identify trends to rectify any areas of concern and maintain a green quality dashboard, flagging any possible issues to the Agents. • Create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organisational effectiveness, communication and safety. • Maintaining and growing National Farmers Union Scotland membership • Sell NFU Mutual Insurance and introduce Financial Services to clients. • Assisting Agents as required **Essential Criteria** • You will have Nat 5 or equivalent in Maths & English • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to establish rapport and develop relationships with staff and customers • Ambitious, self-motivated person with good organisational skills and desire to play a positive role in building a successful business • Flexible and enjoy working with people • Ability to learn on the job and adapt to changes • Possess a good working knowledge of computers including windows applications **Desirable Criteria** • Experience in using CRM systems • Experience as an office/department manager## Our commitment to you- Monday - Friday 9 to 5 (A requirement to support our local agricultural shows during the summer so 3 Saturdays during the spring/summer) - Pension scheme - Flexitime - Free on-site parking - Comprehensive training - Generous annual leave (21 days) plus 11 bank/public holidays.
