Hotel Designs is the leading international hotel design website, offering daily news, features, and insights for architects, designers, and hoteliers. SPACE Magazine is a premium print publication exploring the intersection of architecture, interiors, and innovation across the hospitality industry.
Role Overview
We’re seeking a dynamic, commercially driven Media Sales Manager to lead advertising and sponsorship sales across both platforms. You’ll be responsible for building relationships with suppliers, design brands, PR agencies, and hospitality groups to deliver integrated media solutions that drive revenue and brand impact.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute sales strategies across digital, print, and event sponsorship
* Manage and grow a portfolio of clients in design, architecture, hospitality, and luxury sectors
* Sell advertising packages, branded content, newsletters, digital display campaigns
* Pitch and close sponsorships for Hotel Designs’ portfolio of bespoke events such as roundtables and panel talks
* Collaborate with editorial and marketing teams to deliver client campaigns
* Track performance and report on KPIs, revenue targets, and pipeline health
* Attend industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to generate leads
Skills & Experience
* Proven track record in B2B media sales (design, architecture, hospitality sectors preferred)
* Strong understanding of digital advertising, branded content, and sponsorship models
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
* CRM proficiency (e.g., Workbooks) and pipeline management
* Self-starter with entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work independently
* Passion for design, architecture, and storytelling
