The Governors, staff and children at Lark Hill Primary school are looking to appoint an experienced and outstanding Higher Level Teaching Assistant for our Key Stage 2 classes. All children deserve the very best and we are looking for a professional who has a passion for teaching and learning and is committed to our school values.
The successful candidate will:
* Have the appropriate teaching and learning level 3 diploma or equivalent qualification
* Promote and model the school values of NURTURE, ACHIEVE and RESPECT
* Be able to plan and adapt the curriculum to meet the needs of groups of pupils
* Be able to deliver learning for whole class sessions when covering the teacher
* Understand the importance of teamwork and collaboration
* Be committed and understand the importance of experiential learning
* Have high expectations of themselves and all pupils
* Place relationships at the core of their practice
* Make effective use of IT to support learning
* Have the ability to self-evaluate learning needs and actively seek learning opportunities
* Have experience of positive behaviour management strategies and a commitment to the school’s policy
* Be approachable, providing support and challenge for their colleagues
