Higher Level Teaching Assistant (Full-Time)
Central Liverpool
Salary: £98 - £110 per day (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)
Start date: September 2025 – July 2026
The School and Role
Vision for Education are working in partnership with a vibrant and inclusive, Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ primary school based in central Liverpool. The school is committed to providing a supportive and engaging learning environment where every child is encouraged to thrive. They are seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join their team on a full-time basis from September 2025 through to the end of the academic year in July 2026.
The successful HLTA will support teaching and learning across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, delivering small group interventions and occasional whole-class cover during PPA sessions, as directed by the school’s leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified HLTA or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to develop their experience across the primary phases in a supportive and welcoming school community.
Requirements
The desired HLTA will have:
1. Experience of working with primary school aged children
2. A minimum HLTA qualification or equivalent
3. A strong understanding of the national curriculum for Key Stages 1 and 2
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
5. A flexible and proactive approach to supporting learning
6. Have, or be prepared to undergo, an Enhanced DBS check
