We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to join our Crisis Team within NHS Borders. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the frontline of mental health services, supporting people experiencing acute psychological distress and helping to prevent hospital admission wherever possible.
As a Crisis Team Nurse, you will provide rapid assessment, evidence based interventions, and short-term intensive support in the community. Working collaboratively with service users, carers and multi-disciplinary professionals, you can play a vital role in promoting recovery, safety and hope during times of crisis.
The role is 30 hours per week with an expectation to work shifts, including night shift. If you are a dedicated mental health professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and wants to make a real difference, we would love to hear from you.

For specific types of post, if you do not have the necessary eligibility to work in the UK, it might be possible (though not guaranteed) to secure sponsorship via a UK Skilled Worker/Health & Care Worker Visa. However, this is only possible if the employer is a licenced Sponsor, and if the post does not fall below the current minimum salary threshold or ‘going rate’.
