MEICA Delivery Manager - KentJob DescriptionCMDP, a Joint Venture between Costain and MWHT, have been selected by Southern Water to deliver essential infrastructure solutions for its next AMP8 investment programme. The award is for an initial seven-year term worth at least £500m to Costain, with an option to extend by up to five years.The strategic delivery partner framework will deliver upgrades to water and wastewater assets, including treatment sites, pumping stations and reservoirs, during Asset Management Period 8 (AMP8) and beyond. Southern Water expects that its AMP8 programme, which runs from 2025 to 2030, will be the largest it has ever undertaken.#LI-SA1Responsibilities Act as the central figure coordinating the MEICA and Commissioning aspects of the water supply construction project during the Pre-construction phases Manage the sequence of work to ensure that the project programme is matured and understood prior to Hand over to delivery Oversee and validate the design to ensure it meets the functional requirements, safety standards, and operational needs of water supply systems Develop a detailed commissioning strategy and plan, ensuring all before the relevant gateway. This will include interdependence between individual process streams Oversee documentation, inspection, and testing procedures to maintain project quality Ensure that the teams are briefed on Standard / Complex proceedures and provide regular feedback on what is working Ensure compliance with relevant Statutory requirements, water industry standards, environmental regulations, and safety guidelines. Identify any deviations from the standards or technical variations Qualifications Organise and prioritise work Programme Management Ability to plan, manage, and coordinate commissioning tasks within a larger project framework team Identify risks and control measures Follow health and safety and environmental legislation, regulations, and practice.
