**Role Overview:**Our Wilton site is a critical part of Huntsman Polyurethanes’ manufacturing operations and is designated as a COMAH top-tier site. To support our ongoing commitment to safety, reliability, and innovation, we are hiring an Asset Engineer, Automation. This role will focus on managing and developing our process control and safety systems to ensure optimal performance, availability, and integrity.We are looking for someone who is technically strong, proactive, and passionate about automation and control systems in a complex industrial environment. In this role, you will report to the Site Responsible Electrical & Instrument Engineer and be accountable for the availability and integrity of control and safety systems, as well as ensuring compliance with internal standards and regulatory requirements.**Role Responsibilities:****As an Asset Engineer, Automation, you will be responsible for:****Experience and Competencies:****What we are looking for:** Degree in Control, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline (extensive relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree qualification)Minimum 3 - 5 years of experience in control systems within a chemical or other high hazard industrial plant environment (e.g. Utilities, Oil & Gas, Pharma)Strong knowledge of control system engineering and associated hardwareExperience with DCS, MIS, and safety-critical systems (ideally Emerson Delta-V and HIMA Sella systems)Knowledge of Industrial Cybersecurity standards and guidelines would be highly regardedFamiliarity with COMAH regulations and process safety fundamentals Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interact with associates at different sites globallyWe welcome the talent, experience and fresh ideas that employees at all stages of their careers bring to Huntsman - from interns to seasoned professionals.In return, we offer you the opportunity to become an integral part of a dynamic, industry-leading company, where safety and ethics always come first.
