We are looking for highly motivated, enthusiastic, and proactive Adult and Paediatric trained nurses/ODPs to join our friendly and supportive team.
NUH Theatre Recovery spans two campuses - QMC and City - providing care for patients in the immediate post-operative phase for both adult and paediatric patients across 46 operating theatres following emergency and elective surgeries. Surgical specialties include major trauma, orthopaedics, neurosurgery, hepatobiliary, general surgery, maxillofacial, spinal surgery, eye surgery, ENT, obstetrics, vascular, upper GI, thoracic, and burns. Paediatric patients are cared for at QMC.
Main duties of the job
You will join a proactive, dynamic team of nurses and ODPs committed to delivering the best standards of perioperative care.

NUH is a Major Trauma Centre supporting a diverse range of students and learners. The successful applicant should hold or be willing to work towards a Level 3 mentorship qualification.
The successful candidate will participate in the current Theatre Recovery rota, which includes out-of-hours work, nights, and weekends, with a commitment to Bank Holiday work.

Person Specification
Qualifications
* Current Level 1 NMC registration or HCPC registration.
* Evidence of Continuing Professional Development or relevant courses.
Skills
* Proficiency in computer literacy and IT skills, including email, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
Experience
* Understanding of the Theatre/Recovery role.
* Experience in delivering care in an acute hospital setting.

Salary: £29,970 to £36,483 per annum (pro-rata).
