About the Role
As a Sales Engineer, you’ll combine technical expertise with commercial acumen to deliver tailored fan and ventilation solutions to clients across industries such as power generation, cement, steel, mining, chemical, and manufacturing. You’ll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, managing customer relationships, and supporting projects from concept to commissioning.
Key Responsibilities
* Business Development & Sales
o Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in target sectors.
o Conduct market research and competitor analysis.
o Prepare proposals, quotations, and tender documents.
o Negotiate contracts and close deals.
* Technical Support & Solution Selling
o Understand client requirements and recommend suitable systems.
o Collaborate with engineering and production teams on custom solutions.
o Deliver technical presentations and product demos.
o Provide troubleshooting and after‑sales support.
* Project Management & Coordination
o Liaise with internal teams to ensure timely delivery and installation.
o Monitor project progress and maintain client communication.
o Report on sales performance and market trends.
* Customer Relationship Management
o Build long‑term relationships with key accounts.
o Serve as the main point of contact for technical and commercial queries.
o Ensure customer satisfaction through ongoing support.
What We’re Looking For
* Experience:
o Proven success in technical sales (e.g., blowers, rotating equipment, heavy machinery).
o Experience in industrial sectors such as power, cement, steel, or mining is a plus.
o Track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
* Technical Knowledge:
o Ability to read technical drawings and specifications.
o Understanding of system design and industry standards (e.g., ISO, AMCA).
* Soft Skills:
o Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
o Ability to simplify complex technical concepts for clients.
o Self‑driven, results‑oriented, and comfortable with travel.
o Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools.

Salary: £40,000–£50,000 per annum.
Expected hours: 40 per week Mon‑Fri.
Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred).
Work Location: In person.
