Are you a roofing specialist who knows your products inside out and thrives on helping customers get it right first time?
Do you enjoy turning enquiries into orders, spotting opportunities, and becoming the go-to expert in your branch?
We’re looking for a Roofing Manager to lead and grow our roofing offer at Lords Builders Merchants in Beaconsfield. This is a key role where your technical knowledge, commercial focus and customer relationships will directly shape the success of the department.
What you’ll be doing
* Being the branch expert for all roofing systems and materials
* Supporting trade and retail customers with product selection, technical advice and solutions
* Preparing accurate quotes and processing orders efficiently
* Proactively following up enquiries and identifying opportunities to grow sales
* Managing roofing stock in line with demand and seasonal trends
* Building strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers
* Supporting site visits where required
* Working closely with the wider branch team and contributing to overall sales
What we’re looking for
* Strong technical knowledge of roofing materials and systems – essential
* Experience in the builders merchant or roofing supply sector
* A proactive, sales-driven approach with a focus on growing your customer base
* Confident communication and natural relationship-building skills
* Well organised, with the ability to manage quotes, orders and stock effectively
* Good IT skills
* A valid UK driving licence
* Right to work in the UK
The details
* Hours: 7.00am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
* Saturdays: 7.00am – 12.00pm (alternate)
* Holiday: 22 days plus Bank Holidays
* Salary: Competitive
* Benefits: Discretionary bonus scheme
