Job Description:
1. To report for duty on time (at least 10 minutes prior to your start time) and be of a presentable appearance.
2. To ensure that high standards of personal grooming, hygiene and posture are maintained and your uniform is at all times to the required standard.
3. You must clock yourself in (ONLY WHEN YOU ARE READY TO COMMENCE WORK) & out of shifts in order to be paid.
4. To take responsibilities for keys when on duty once they have been issued and ensure the return of them to the Cleaning Supervisor at the end of shift.
5. It is your responsibility to look after company property once it has been issued.
6. To ensure that a friendly, efficient, courteous and consistent service is provided at all times.
7. To have full knowledge of the companies standards of operational procedures, ensuring consistency of standards and procedures throughout the operation.
8. To have maximum knowledge of all cleaning products, service standards, procedures and company policies.
9. To carry out any jobs or duties as required by Cleaning Supervisor and Management Team.
10. To ensure that the departmental cleaning rota is followed on a daily basis to the highest standard and then to be signed off once the tasks are completed.
11. To ensure all maintenance, repair and cleaning issues are reported ASAP and dealt with in order to maintain the operation to the highest standards.
12. To clean all areas restaurant / bar, washrooms, communal areas and outside areas in accordance with the company's standards of operational procedures.
13. To ensure that all equipment used in the premises is clean and of a good condition.
14. To maintain and encourage a good working relationship with your colleagues and all other departments.
15. To contribute to the building of team spirit.
16. To provide operational support to other departments as and when needed or requested.
17. To fill out the handover book if necessary, and liaise with the Management on a daily basis on all matters concerning the department (rota issues, special requests or handover from previous day).
18. To participate in any training courses as requested.
19. To be fully conversant and adhere to the following:
o The Company Fire Procedure.
o The Company Security Procedure.
o The Company Health, Safety and Hygiene Procedures & Laws.
o The Company Codes of Conduct regarding Discipline, Grievance Procedure etc.
o The Company Complaint Handling Procedure.
o The Licensing Laws.
