ABOUT FOURPLY:
Fourply Ltd is an established, joinery-led building contractor delivering refurbishment, minor works, passive fire
protection and maintenance services across healthcare, retail and commercial environments throughout the UK.
As we enter our 26th year of trading, we operate under structured ISO management systems and maintain multiple
industry accreditations. Compliance, governance and continuous improvement are embedded in how we operate,
with the majority of our turnover generated from long-standing client relationships.
We are seeking an experienced Operations & Compliance Manager to take ownership of our internal systems,
governance framework and training structure, whilst supporting the continued commercial growth of the business.
THE ROLE:
This is a key operational role responsible for maintaining, developing and strengthening the company’s compliance
and governance infrastructure, ensuring that our systems not only meet regulatory requirements but actively
support commercial opportunity.
You will:
Lead and manage our Integrated Management System (Quality, Environmental & Health & Safety)
Act as primary liaison with our external ISO consultants
Guide and support Contracts Managers on HR procedures and compliance requirements, with support from
our external HR consultants
Manage staff training plans, budgets and CITB submissions
Monitor non-conformances and present structured reports at monthly management meetings
Oversee the preparation, maintenance and renewal of company accreditations
COMMERCIAL & GROWTH SUPPORT:
Support preparation of compliance documentation for client presentations and audits
Identify and review new opportunities via procurement portals such as Public Contracts Scotland
Coordinate and prepare pre-qualification questionnaires (PQQs), framework submissions and supporting
documentation
Work alongside external consultants to prepare structured tender and compliance submissions
Ensure Quality, Environmental and H&S documentation is commercially robust and presentation-ready
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
Experience managing ISO or quality management systems
Strong understanding of Quality, Environmental & H&S compliance frameworks
Experience supporting tender submissions or structured procurement processes desirable
Knowledge of HR procedures and training coordination
Experience managing training plans and budget control
Highly organised with strong reporting capability
Confident communicator, comfortable influencing managers
SME experience desirable
Construction or engineering sector experience advantageous
