Calendula Bebington is looking for experienced and passionate Healthcare Assistants to join our team. Bebington Care Nursing Home is an 80-bed service providing high quality care across 4 specialised units supporting residents with varying care needs as well as providing a comfortable and safe living environment. Our approach focuses on individualised care, considering the whole person and their unique challenges, rather than just the diagnosis.
What do you need?
* Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, residents, and their families
* A caring and empathetic approach to residents and their visitors
* Effective communication skills (both written and verbal)
What hours will you work?
* Options available up to 55 hours per week
* Day and night shifts available
* Shift time 8am to 8pm / 8pm to 8am
What will you be doing?
Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
* Observe resident progress against planned goals and report changes in the residents' condition or care needs
* Supporting all aspects of daily living including personal care, mealtimes and social activities
* Helping residents to remain as independent as possible
* Respecting residents right of choice, privacy and dignity at all times
* Communicate effectively with other staff and members of the team
