Animal Management Lecturer
Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for an Animal Management Lecturer to join our Berkshire College of Agriculture team on a full‑time basis. This is a fixed‑term role working from May 2026 until 30 June 2027.
The role pays from £31,633 up to £41,341, dependent on experience and qualifications.
Successful applicants will deliver a diverse range of practical and theoretical subjects including animal behaviour, biology, health, feeding and accommodation across both L2 and L3 provisions. Experience teaching and assessing for awarding bodies such as BTEC and City and Guilds is desirable. You should hold a degree in a relevant subject area, have demonstrable experience working with animals in industry, and preferably possess a teaching qualification. Assessing learning and internal verification qualifications will be advantageous. In addition to teaching, you will act as course tutor, supporting students throughout their college journey and beyond.
BCA is a growing FE college with a strong land‑based heritage, including a licensed BIAZA‑accredited zoo and an excellent Animal Management Centre.
